Theme ride at Portaventura

PortAventura theme park, with thrilling rides, shows, restaurants and shops, is near Barcelona in north-east Spain on the Costa Dorada.
The park is divided into five themed zones: Mediterranean, Polynesia, China, Mexico and the Far West.

The Mediterranean section offers some mouth-watering restaurants.
The Polynesia section boasts the Tutuki Splash water ride.
In the Mexico section you can explore the mysterious Mayan Pyramids. In the Far West you can watch cowboys riding horses and having gun fights.
The biggest thrill of all comes in the China section where you will find Dragon Khan, the park’s most notorious ride and the only rollercoaster in Europe with eight inverted loops.

Along with the adjacent water park, Costa Caribe, Port Aventura makes up the Universal Mediterranea theme park.
